The opening of the ‘Re-imagining Architecture’ exhibition on Saturday, the 2nd of October, marks the closing of Aedes’ program at Savignyplatz. After 30 exciting and successful years of interesting exhibitions and controversial and fruitful debates on space, cities and architecture culture, AedesLand under the S-Bahn arches at Savignyplatz is shutting down.
We would like to thank the millions of visitors, Berliners as well as international guests, the protagonists of our exhibitions and their teams, friends and supporters, press and media, production partners, our neighbors and Giuseppe Signorello and his team of the Aedes Café for a fantastic three decades. Also we need to adapt to the changes of the city. Nevertheless we will continue our exhibition program which since a year has been extended with the very successful international ’Metropolitan Laboratory’ Aedes Network Campus Berlin at Pfefferberg. We hope for your further interest and support.
