"What will tomorrow´s hospital be like?"is the leading question of Cor Wagenaar, who examines the impact and side effects of architecture on the healing process of human beings. As hospitals are sick buildings to him, he pleads for a revolution of public-health architecture towards a more human, holistic and multifunctional one. His claim ties into the current questions of the demographic shift, the care of the elderly and possible reforms of the healthcare system. "The only certainty is that this is a propitious time for fundamental change." (C. Wagenaar)
